The Connecticut Firefighters Charitable Foundation is a proud supporter of the Connecticut Burn Center. Our foundation was instrumental in spearheading and funding through generous donations from Connecticut Fire Departments $175,000.00 to build a family suite within this center.
This suite provides a comfortable location for families of firefighters burned in the line of duty and other residents seeking care for their injuries, to stay in while their loved ones are being treated.
This suite is within the burn center which affords both family and patient to remain in close proximity to each other.
We continue to support this center with donations of items needed in this unit and helping to fund educational seminars for staff.
