The Connecticut Firefighters Charitable Foundation is a dynamic organization of firefighters who are passionate about supporting fire and burn prevention programs, peer programs for burn survivors and their families, and the Connecticut fire service at large. We accomplish our goals by providing a unique approach to fundraising efforts through partnerships with many charitable organizations, as well as connecting with and providing for those we serve.
The Connecticut Firefighters Charitable Foundation was founded in June, 1999 by firefighters from the Town of Stratford, CT. This recognized 501-c3 non-profit foundations' mission is the prevention of fires and burn injuries.
A firefighter is tasked with protecting life and property. Fighting fires, providing medical care and assistance to residents in our Connecticut communities, 24 hours a day 365 days a year is what we do. The Connecticut Firefighters Charitable Foundation supports residents in our state who have sustained a significant burn injury, by providing funding for those areas we support and making a difference to burn survivors. "Firefighters going beyond the fire fight" Join us in partnership as we are committed to reducing all fires and all burn injuries! |
