Since 1992, the Connecticut Firefighters Charitable Foundation has been a major supporter and has donated thousands of dollars in support of this camp.
The Arthur C. Luf Children's Burn Camp, founded in 1991 is a one-week summer camp for severely burned children, ages 8-18. Children attend this camp from all over the world.
Staff from all over North America; attend this camp. Firefighters, medical personnel from leading burn centers along the Eastern Seaboard and Adult Burn Survivors round out this staff.
This camp provides a one-week fun filled camp experience, where campers meet others who have suffered the same injury, which allows them to not only heal physically but psychologically a well.
This camp is funded strictly through donations. Campers who attend, do so for absolutely no cost to their families.
